Sound advice that Tim has made a point of ignoring for twenty years. He has a natural affinity with both, and has children (and dogs) of his own. In fact animal photography can be like working with very young children in some ways. Some of the same psychology applies.

Fun and spontaneity are an essential part of people photography, never more so than when working with youngsters. Tim has a knack for keeping everybody positive, engaged and enthusiastic.

While fun is important, so is a meticulous attention to detail throughout the production process. It takes a safe pair of hands, experience, technical expertise, a great team, and sometimes a lot of patience. Just to be ready for that iconic shot when it suddenly all comes together in the blink of an eye.

Tim works mainly for advertising and design clients; shooting both stills and motion for some of the world's biggest brands.
